Trying to stay positive
>> Monday, September 15, 2008
I am really trying to stay positive, but I doesn't look like I am going to ovulate this month (or ever). After seeing all of our great swimmers last week it makes me so sad that my body won't give them an egg.
I am not sure if the hormones just have the best of me or what. I truly believe that everything happens for a reason, but having a baby wasn't supposed to be like this. I guess I need to listen to Mrs. M, nothing easy is ever good and nothing good is ever easy!
Yesterday was my sister in laws baby shower. I was asked a few times when I was going to start popping babies out. I was also told twice that I better be pregnant next. I just smiled politely and said hopefully soon and yes ma'am.
The weekend started out great, my temp spiked to 97.9 on Saturday... but today it was back to 97.2 - so no ovulation. This is my last Clomid cycle with my ob/gyn. My appointment with the specialist isn't until Dec 1st. It is going to be a long fall.

I'm so sorry...but don't give up yet! It could still happen! And I can relate to the questions people ask, I'm so tired of being asked when I'll be pregnant. Maybe we should just wear shirts that say "working on it, thank you." lol!
I love the shirt idea!
Me too! We could also have something on the back that says "donations welcome!" lol!
I am on 50mg of clomid, CD5-9, and after my IUI I will take 400mg of prometrium, but nothing else. I'm "unexplained" and I'm lucky enough to ovulate on my own, but I guess the clomid just makes sure of it and helps me ovulate "stronger". I hope it works this time!
OMG, I totally think we should make these shirts! I will keep my fingers crossed for you, and make you a post-it-note that says, It WILL HAPPEN!:)
I'm unexplained but I don't ovulate or have a period on my own. Good luck with your IUI!
Know that you are in my prayers and that GOD is in control!!! I do hope that a little Wilson will so be on the way! We just wish it was in our time and in the end it doesn't always turn out that way!
