The boy and his bat

Jackson had too much fun yesterday playing with his bat. The bat was like his little partner in crime. They hunted for food, tried to climb the stools, and even ventured some steps together.
Maybe I should have put his bat in the crib with him last night cause it was a rough one. I'm not sure if he's going through some separation anxiety, teething, or just plain doesn't want to sleep. I try to let him cry and tough it out, but this kid can outlast me every time. So, I did what I know how to do best. I held him tight and cuddled him in our bed all night. All while remembering those nights I spent crying and praying for my chance to do just this.

Love the pics! Sorry you guys had a rough night...we are in the same boat here. I thought that our sleep issues would be over at almost 2, but it seems the probs are starting again! Maybe we can pull some all nighters when you guys visit! haha
