Teething Bites

>> Tuesday, August 10, 2010

It seems as though Jackson is quite the overachiever in the teething department. The poor kid can't ever just cut one tooth, or one molar. Nope, not Jackson. He likes to do it all at once.

Cutting all four molars meant that our weekend was loads of fun. Jackson ran his first real fever {above 100}, had the snottiest nose {which I have today}, and an attitude he most certainly didn't get from his Momma. We got a real glimpse into life with a terrible two and it wasn't too pretty. Seriously, Jackson was pitiful.

Like the good Momma I am, I gave him whatever would make him happy. Even if it was my duster...my dirty, used duster. I mean look at this face, how could you say no to that?!?

Since he's ran a 101+ fever pretty much non-stop since Saturday, I called Jackson's pediatrician on Monday morning. They went ahead and had me bring him in, just to be safe. Well, Jackson's ears, nose, throat all checked out fine. As I suspected, the new teeth were the cause of the fever.

In conclusion, teething totally bites! Oh, and at 14 months Jackson weights 26lbs. 14oz. He's an overachieving nurser as well:)

I'm so sorry you are having a hard time with teething - but Jackson is still as cute as ever - even when miserable!

Confesstion: I let my babies play with the swiffer & our broom. If they're absolutely miserable, I voluntarily pull out the broom & all is happy!

He really is so adorable! I hope the teething gets better :)

OMG...Anthony is obsessed with the duster lately. I hate giving it to him, but it makes him so happy. I have told you before, we are going through the same things with Anthony now too. Teething stinks...and so do the terrible two's! Think if us at 2am!
