I know that I say this every month, but seriously, how is it that yet another month has past in a blink of an eye?!?
Jackson is 16 months old now, and more toddler than baby then ever before. He babbles all of the time. He loves to run wild and hates to sit still, unless he's sitting with our nanny. Jackson prefers eating food to drinking milk, and he loves water out of his sippy cup. He has weaned himself from nursing, except for morning and before bed. I'm really happy that we still have those times.
Jackson loves to open and shut doors, flip the light switch on and off, and unsnap my nursing tanks. He's a smart boy, always examining how things work. Jackson always watches us and then mimic our actions. He'll grab our toothbrushes and brush his teeth, or take his nose spray and try and do it himself.
We think that Jackson may be ambidextrous. We have a few lefties in the family, so I guess it's possible. Jackson can throw a ball with both hands, and picks up his fork with both hands. However, he throws a ball better with his left and eats better with his right.
I can't help but laugh at the fact that most of Jackson's clothes from when he was under a year still fit him. He's been in size 12-18 months for a while now:) Even though he's still a chunky monkey, he is losing his baby fat as he grows taller.
Each month that passes is better than the next. I can't wait to see what this next month holds for us. We're so excited for Halloween and planning for Christmas. I'm terrified to think about Action Jackson and a Christmas tree, but it will all be worth it:)
